The History Behind the Name

In its youth in the year 1968, BRP tested out the waters with its first PWC product-the bright yellow brethren to the company's Ski-Doo snowmobile. It was introduced to a mild crowd of enthusiasts, but in no way made a name for itself. BRP tried again two years later, and this later model caught everyone's attention. The new Sea-Doo® model was fast, handsome, and packed with power. It was the beginning of the company's takeover. By 1995, it had conquered half of the market.
